Beulah Challenge 2024

The Beulah Challenge is an annual race (started in 1996) consisting of 5K, 10K, and half-marathon distances located in Beulah, Colorado, which is situated in the beautiful Wet Mountain foothills. The 2024 race will be a live event on September 21st.

The Over It Series consists of the Beulah Challenge half-marathon and the Rim to Rim Royal Gorge half-marathon on October 5, 2024.

Half Marathon Time Limit: 3 1/2 Hours
Runners, joggers and walkers are all welcomed to participate. We applaud all those who set out to complete the Half Marathon distance, regardless of the pace. The race is permitted through the town of Beulah and we use officers from the Sate of Colorado Police Department to monitor traffic along Pine Lane (highway 78) to keep the runners safe.

This is a pace of 16:00 minutes per mile for the half marathon. For your own safety, we strongly discourage you from participating in this event if you cannot maintain a pace of 16:00 minutes per mile as all course support shuts down based on this pace.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Beulah Educational Support Team (B.E.S.T.), a 501(c)(3) organization that provides funding to the Beulah School of Natural Sciences for educational programming, with an emphasis on environmental education. B.E.S.T. was founded in 2010 as a 501(c)3 to raise money to fund educational programs at the Beulah School of Natural Sciences. We focus on supporting the School’s mission of environmental education by funding student trips to learn outdoors.
