The Beulah Challenge is 2019 date TBD.

The Subaru of Pueblo Beulah Challenge exists to challenge anyone and inspire everyone. We want to see you try your hardest, whether it's grinding your way through the trail climbs of the half marathon, or pushing through your first 5k walk or run. We're offering the most picturesque race courses in southern Colorado. You get a top notch technical shirt with your entry. You can camp right at the start line in the Beulah valley for FREE. Solar Roast Coffee will be selling coffee and more in the morning, and our volunteers will be selling fundraiser pancakes first thing in the morning. To top it off, your race entry benefits the local School of Natural Sciences.

The Beulah Challenge is a 5k, 10k, and half marathon trail run and walk on some of the most beautiful country roads and singletrack trails in southern Colorado. Challenging courses, cheerful support crews, and pancakes after the races. What more could you ask for? Participants will be timed, and winners from each division will be announced!

2019 date TBD.

It has been an exciting year for Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center as we merged two impactful organizations and expand outdoor and environmental education opportunities for students throughout Pueblo County.

Change comes with opportunities and challenges. Due to unexpected challenges and personnel changes, the 2018 Beulah Challenge has been cancelled. We want to ensure the best possible quality event for our participants. At this time, we must focus on ensuring the health of our organization during a transition of leadership.

We regret any inconvenience or disappointment this causes eager and energetic participants. We encourage and welcome contributions and new memberships. Please call 719-485-4444 for information about how to become a member.

We look forward to a bright future for this wonderful event. We will be honoring any 2018 promotional codes in the next year of the event. Furthermore, paid 2018 registrations will be refunded.

We thank you for being part of the positive energy and atmosphere that make this race special, and for your understanding.

This spectacular race takes place in the beautiful foothills of the Wet Mountain Range & the Pueblo Mountain Park. Expect open fields, forested mountain roads, streams, & wildlife, all in the quaint, friendly town of Beulah, Colorado.

The event supports the Mountain Park Environmental Center in Beulah. Mountain Park Environmental Center (MPEC) is a non-profit organization whose founding principles are centered around bringing students to Pueblo Mountain Park to experience the wonders of nature firsthand. Annually, we bring more than 7,000 students to the Wet Mountains of Colorado to participate in our award-winning programs. As school budgets continue to cut experiential education opportunities, our efforts to provide these students with up close and personal experiences with nature are becoming more important. Internal surveys of fifth-grade students from Pueblo that participate in our programs indicate that 80% of these students have never been to the mountains; many of these students can see the mountains from their schoolyard!

Funds from event registration fees will directly be applied to the cost of providing outdoor education opportunities to students across Southern Colorado.

Registration includes your race admission, support stations on the course, and a Beulah Challenge race shirt! Must register by September 15 to guarantee shirt.
